Let’s talk about the internal layout of a narrowboat, specifically what to expect on board and where the ‘rooms’ are located. Narrowboats have a corridor that usually runs the length of the boat and also a galley kitchen, bed(s) in cabins, and toilet/washroom facilities.

Most narrowboats available for holiday hire have an internal layout with a cabin at the back of the boat and a social area at the front.
