Hire a boat for February half term!

Keep the kids occupied this February half term with a boating holiday on the UK waterways. Take to the Norfolk Broads for fun family days out at local attractions or cruise the canals, helping each other to work the locks and navigate the tunnels! Wherever you choose to go, it’ll be a family holiday to remember. Here are some suggestions, hand-picked by us:

‘Amber Emblem’ is a great family cruiser located at Horning on the Norfolk Broads. Sleeping 5 people in total in the two en-suite cabins. This cruiser is also fitted with a bow thruster to aid mooring and manoeuvring. Ideally situated on the Norfolk Broads, close to family-friendly attractions such as BeWilderwood.

‘Prince of Light’ is a new, elite cruiser from our Potter Heigham base on the Norfolk Broads. Great for a small family with one double cabin & one dinette double. There is also a forward sundeck that can be used for fishing or sunbathing.

‘Dawn Mist’ is a 62ft narrowboat great for large family groups, located on the Coventry Canal nr Birmingham. Sleeping up to 8 people in total in three cabins, plus the make-up double in the saloon area. There are many local attractions in the area, including Drayton Manor, Cadbury World and the National Trust’s Shugborough Hall .

‘Poppy’ is a 66ft narrowboat, ideal for a family of 4 to explore Stratford-upon-Avon & surrounding towns. There are two permanent cabins on board along with a large living area. A solid fuel stove is in the saloon area, perfect for spending cosy evenings with the family.

A wonderful 60ft narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal, ideal for a large family or two families sharing. Braunston is in a great location, with access to a brilliant variety of routes and attractions, such as the famous Warwick Castle!

‘Little Egret’ is a comfortable 55ft narrowboat, perfect for a family group with two permanent cabins. Situated in Cowley, West London, allowing easy access into the centre of London. Visit attractions such as London Zoo, Regent’s Park and Little Venice.
