General Facilities: A 65 foot semi-traditional stern narrowboat, with modern smooth-running diesel engine. Excellent headroom throughout. Permanent double bed with interior sprung mattress in rear cabin, dinette converts to double bed, settee converts to a double bed, plus small single for child. Bed linen is provided (with extra blankets if required). Travel cot available if needed. Hairdryer. Shower in bathroom, 2 x flush toilets, 240v shaver socket. Hot water via calorifier and central heating. Central heating plus cosy solid-fuel fire in saloon. Colour TV/DVD and stereo system. Fully equipped Galley with microwave, gas cooker (oven, grill & hob) washing machine, dishwasher and refrigerator. 12v cigar lighter socket for charging mobile phones. Inverter which supplies 240v electricity to certain equipment and sockets on board (if you decide to plug-in your own equipment, you do so at your own risk). Chairs for towpath use.

Start time: The usual collection time is 3.00pm. We welcome hirers to turn up from 1.30pm onwards and as soon as their boat becomes available we will board them. Please note that the last 'show round' time is 5.00pm. Boats need to be returned by 9.30am on the last day and vacated by 10.00am.

Price Includes: VAT, full boat inventory, all fuel (gas and diesel), bed linen, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel per person, car parking, boating tuition on arrival. Buoyancy aids are available on request. Cleaning materials provided. (Fuel inclusive – This boat is handed over with a full diesel tank and full gas bottles at no cost to the hirer. This will normally suffice for one week's cruising. Please see Booking & Hire Conditions below).

Damage Waiver: A Damage Waiver Premium of £50 is payable on every hire. This is a single non-refundable payment, which covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or its equipment whilst on hire to you (except for negligent or malicious damage). For single-sex (or young) groups, an extra security deposit may be payable on arrival, a card-swipe will be taken to cover £1000 and cancelled upon your return, if the boat is returned on time, in a reasonably clean state and without any negligent damage, or third party claims against you (this extra security deposit will not be applicable for 2016 bookings).

Pets: Pets are welcome. First pet is included within the basic boat hire price. Subsequent pets welcome for an additional charge of £25 per pet.

Deposit Payment: A booking deposit of 20% of the total cost is payable initially, with the balance of hire due 6 weeks before your arrival date. There is a 2% surcharge if you wish to pay by credit card, but no surcharge for payment with a debit card.

Cancellation Cover: Cancellation protection cover is not included, but can be offered by the boat company if required.
