General Facilities: A great choice for family groups or couples. 'Oak', ‘Maple’ & 'Cedar' are comfortable and spacious. They have household square pin sockets supplied by a 1500 watt inverter (240v supply) and come complete with toaster, hair dryer and vacuum cleaner. The extra spacious saloon has one free standing armchair and a folding directors chair in addition to the pullout settee. Colour TV, DVD player and music centre are all provided for your onboard entertainment. The two bedrooms have their own adjoining bathroom containing a shower bath (deep hip baths on Cedar and Maple, 4' 0" length bath on Oak), wash basin and toilet. Each bedroom also has a radio/CD player. As a six berth, two people can sleep on the settee in the saloon. Full central heating via radiators. Hair dryer. WiFi: Mobile Wifi can be fitted on this boat (devices are subject to availability and are NOT available during the Winter months) - please request this at the time of booking if required. There is a £75 refundable deposit payable on arrival for the Wifi (1GB free, then top-up).

Hire Periods: The hire period starts between 1.30pm and 3.00pm (please notify the boatyard well in advance if you need to pick your boat up after 4.00pm). We hope to have the boat ready at 1.30pm, but this may depend on any extra cleaning, maintenance work or training required. The boat must be returned by 9.30am on the last day of hire (or before dusk on the previous evening / afternoon if more convenient).

Pets: We regret no pets are allowed on 'Oak' or 'Cedar''. Pets are welcome on Maple, but please provide your own blankets/baskets. They are not allowed on seating or beds and may not be left unattended. Pets are not covered under the company's insurance policy and the Hirer shall be liable for the cost of any damage or extra cleaning required.

Pet charges for Maple:
Short Break - £20 for the first pet and £10 for the second
Week - £30 for the first and £15 for the second
10/11 nights - £40 for the first and £25 for the second
2 weeks - £45 for the first and £30 for the second
17/18 nights - £55 for the first and £40 for the second
3 weeks - £60 for the first and £45 for the second

Price includes: Boat Insurance, Damage Waiver, tuition cruise including passage through a lock, British Waterways licence, (Principle exception River Thames). Fuel (gas & diesel), car parking, toilet pump out on second week, buoyancy aids, cot sides, bed linen, colour TV & DVD player, radio, CD & Cassette Player, toilet rolls, cleaning materials and VAT.

To make a booking: A deposit of 20% of the hire cost is payable to secure your booking, with the balance of hire due for payment 8 weeks before your holiday start date.

Age Limits: We regret that bookings by skippers aged under 21 cannot be accepted on this boat.
The minimum age when hiring our boats from Linslade depends on the size of the craft as follows:-
Up to 5 berths - must be aged 21yrs +...... 6 to 8 berths - must be aged 25yrs +.
PLEASE NOTE: For all single sex groups or three or more and/or when hiring more than one boat, at least two crew members per boat must be aged over 30yrs + and a £250.00 security deposit per boat is charged. The deposit will be returned at the end of the holiday less any deductions for damage or breakages, if there are any. This charge may also be requested for some non-family groups, at the discretion of the boatyard. All single sex crews of three or more and multi-boat bookings are taken with permisson from the boatyard only.

Cancellation Protection Scheme: (for UK customers only) This is an optional scheme which gives you the right under certain circumstances to cancel your holiday at any time before you start. In this event you are absolved of all liability under the conditions of hire for any balance of charges due, and if part or all of such charges have already been paid, they will be refunded. If you have opted into the Cancellation Protection Scheme, you have the right to cancel your holiday without giving any reason up to 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday.
Within 8 weeks of the start of your holiday, the qualifying circumstances are:
Death, injury or illness (certified in all cases by a qualified medical practitioner), jury service or witness call of any member of the party listed on the booking form at the time of booking; Death, injury or illness (certified in all cases by a qualified medical practitioner) of the spouse, parent, step-parent, brother,sister, child, step-child, parent-in-law or fiance of the hirer or any member of the party; Redundancy of the hirer, providing that the hirer qualifies for payment under the Redundancy Payment Act 1965.
