General Description: A very comfortable and spacious boat for 2 people. Semi-traditional stern which gives a large area for the rear deck which is protected by solid sides. This style of stern offers some weather protection for the steerer and several people are usually able to sit on the lockers in the deck space. It means that more people than ever can enjoy the open air as the canalboat navigates the waterways. Golden Tarn was brand new in 2012. Photos show Golden Fleece.

The layout of these boats has been ergonomically designed to maximise space for the discerning boater. All boats are equipped to a high standard and provide a generous galley area which is fully fitted with a modern oven, hob, fridge and freezer. As well as a gas-fired, full central heating system, the boats also benefit from a traditional wood or coal burning stove - a quaint feature harking back to past times. The lounge area is carpeted and has a radio/CD player, colour television/DVD. (Golden Fleece has a radio/cassette player and a CD player as well as the colour TV/DVD player).

Prices include: - VAT, gas for cooking, car parking, towels and bed linen. Towels are provided for all customers. You will be provided with one bath towel per person and a hand towel will be provided in each wash room.

Fuel Deposit: This boat starts with a full tank of fuel - plenty to cover a steady two week cruise. You pay a fuel deposit when you book your holiday – this is £90 per week or £50 per short break. When you bring the boat back to us, the balance of the deposit is refundable after deducting the fuel used. If you have used fuel in excess of the deposit, you will be asked to pay the difference.

Pets: One pet may also go with you free of charge. A second pet (maximum of 2 pets) is welcome for an additional charge of £25.00 per short break, or £35 per week.

Compulsory Damage Waiver: All bookings are subject to a non-refundable compulsory damage waiver of £50.00. Please refer to Operators Terms and Conditions for limitations.

Cancellation Protection Scheme: Cancellation protection is available at very competitive rates of £25.00/short break or £40.00/week to cover your whole party. If you choose not to use this scheme, you will need to have alternative cancellation protection cover in place and proof of such cover may be requested.

Start/Finish times: Your holiday starts between 2pm - 4pm on the start day and finishes by 9.00am on the last day of hire.

When booking If booking earlier than 8 weeks in advance of the start date, you can book your holiday with a deposit payment of 25% of your basic brochure holiday price, or full payment if your holiday is within eight weeks of booking. With the deposit, we will also require your cancellation premium. Payment may be made by debit or credit card. Please note that a charge of 2% will be added to your holiday cost if you pay by Credit Card, but not if you pay with a debit card.
