General Description: A boat with lots of character, perfect for experienced boaters.
Built in the ‘Josher’ style by renowned boat builders S M Hudson and beautifully painted with lots of traditional features. Traditional style stern. Fully-equipped for cruising, with quiet, modern easy-to-use four-cylinder Beta engine. The electricity supply consists of 2 circuits; 12 volts DC with two cigar lighter-type sockets for 'phone chargers etc., and a 2KW inverter which supplies 240V to standard 3 pin sockets. A hairdryer, iron and vacuum cleaner are supplied. Personal equipment can be brought and used at your own risk.
Saloon and dinette: High quality internal fittings with comfortable free-standing seating and TV/DVD, radio/CD player. Diesel-fired central heating and solid fuel stove. Well-equipped kitchen area with 4-ring gas cooker, toaster and electric fridge. 4-seat dinette with under-seat storage converts to comfortable second double bed.
Double Bedroom: Permanent double bed in separate cabin with wardrobe and cupboards.
Bathroom: Full-size shower and pump-out toilet with fresh water flush.

Under Occupancy Discount: £30.00 reduction per full week for a couple requiring only one bed. N.B. There will be no under occupancy discount if bedding is required for both beds, even if the boat is occupied by just two crew members.

Damage Waiver: A non-refundable Collision Damage Waiver of £45 (£60 if the total hire period is longer than 14 nights) is payable with your balance of hire. This covers you against any accidental losses or damage to the boat reasonably incurred during your hire period. However, it does not cover you against the loss or damage to the owner's or a third party's property due to gross negligence or malicious act, or charges imposed by navigation authorities due to comply with their bye-laws.

Security Deposit. This is payable under the following circumstances:
1. £100 if the hire period exceeds 14 nights (refunded in cash when the boat is returned on time, in a clean condition and without damage which cannot be covered by the Damage Waiver).
2. £100 if the hirers are non UK residents (refunded in cash when the boat is returned on time, in a clean condition and without damage which cannot be covered by the Damage Waiver).
3. £50 if the hirers wish to bring fishing tackle (refunded within 2 working days).

Prices inclusive of: Boat handling instruction on arrival, all fuels (gas & diesel), tea towels & kitchen hand towels, duvets, pillows (2 per person) and bed linen for both double beds and buoyancy aids.

Pets: Pets are welcome (maximum 2) at a cost of £25 for 1 or 2 pets for up to two weeks, £40 for longer than 2 weeks.

Start/Finish times: The hire period starts at 2.30pm to 4.00pm latest on the start day and finishes by 9.00am to vacate by 9.30am on the last day of hire.

Please note: Whilst the costs of your holiday includes all necessary insurances for the hire and normal use of your boat, personal or holiday cancellation insurance is NOT included. It is strongly recommended that you arrange your own cancellation protection and holiday insurances to avoid loss in part or full of the cost of your holiday due to cancellation by yourself in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

When booking: If booking earlier than one month in advance of the start date, you can book your holiday with a deposit payment of 20% of the hire price, or full payment if your holiday is within 4 weeks of booking.
