General Facilities: Braunston & Devizes were brand new in 2010. Cruiser stern with super silent engine. Ideal for large groups or two families.
All berths measure 6ft 6in in length. Headroom is 6ft 6in. Central heating which heats the radiators, provides hot water for sink, basins and shower and warms the airing cupboard. Well equipped galley with glasses, crockery, pans and cutlery, together with a full-sized cooker and a good sized fridge with a small freezer compartment. 240V electric supply (can only run very low wattage appliances, e.g. mobile charger, ipod, etc). The boat is fully insulated and carpeted, with fabric upholstery, doors between all sleeping cabins, flush toilets, bathrooms with super power showers, lots of storage space, LED lighting throughout, flat screen TV/DVD & CD player with radio. Plug in (cigar lighter style) phone charger socket, washing up liquid, T-towels, cleaning equipment etc. Buoyancy aids included free of charge.

Hire Periods: The hire period starts at 1.30pm, returning your boat by 9.00am on the last day of hire and vacated by 9.30am. Late Arrival: We will charge £50 for all arrivals after 4.00pm (which includes only part of the party arriving or departure from the boatyard being delayed by others in the party). For larger boats, a minimum of 4 crew must be present for show-around and training.

Pets: Pets are welcome at no extra charge provided they do no damage, which will be charged for.

Bicycles: You can bring with you up to 2 bikes per boat free of charge. Please note however that there are several low bridges on the canals which prohibit bikes from being carried on the boat roof and they cannot be carried in the cabin.

Price includes: All prices include VAT, fuel (see fuel cap information), gas for cooking, damage waiver, bed linen, towels (1 hand towel & 1 bath mat per bathroom, and 1 bath towel per person), and car parking. Cancellation Cover is not included, so you may wish to arrange your own travel insurance.

Fuel Cap: Use of fuel is limited to 45 litres (for a short break) or 90 litres (for a week) which should be sufficient fuel to cover normal usage for those lengths of time. Any usage over and above this, often due to travelling excessive distances or cruising above the speed limit of 4mph, will be charged at pump prices on your return.

For all-male/all-female parties: An additional refundable security deposit of £1000 per boat is charged as extra, regardless of party size in line with several other operators, with payment being by BACS one week before your arrival date. This will be refunded within 1-2 workings days of the holiday return date, subject to the boat being returned on time, clean and with no negligent or malicious damage.

Initial Payment Required on Booking: To book your holiday, you will be requested to pay a booking deposit of 20% of the total hire cost. Balance of hire will then become due for payment no later than 2 calendar months before the start date of your holiday. Bookings made within 2 calendar months of the start date will require full payment at the time of booking. Please note: for 2016 bookings the deposit value will be 25% of the total hire cost.
