Cigar lighter plug point for mobile phones or camcorders, plus 240V Electric System with a 3-pin plug socket (please make sure your appliances use a maximum of 1 Kw). Free WiFi is available from 2014 - allocated on a first come first served basis (this must be requested at point of booking if required - a £75 refundable deposit is payable on arrival).

For boats starting from Chirk, Falkirk, *London, Napton and Peak District:
Weekly 7 night hire available from 2:30pm to 9:30am, 6 night hire available from 9.30am until 2.30pm. Short breaks are available from 2.30pm Saturdays until 2.30pm Tuesdays or from 9.30am Wednesdays until 9.30am Saturdays. Also 2.30pm Friday until 9.30am Monday or 2.30pm Monday to 9.30am Friday.
For 2015, boats from Napton and the Peak District base will change to the times below instead (as per Acton Bridge, etc.) *Sunday returns are not possible at our London base.

For boats starting from Acton Bridge, Bradford on Avon, Ely, Stoke Prior:
Weekly 7 night hire available from 2:30pm to 9:30am.
Short breaks are available from 2.30pm Saturdays until 9.30am Tuesdays or from 2:30pm Tuesdays until 9.30am Saturdays.
Also 2.30pm Friday until 9.30am Monday or 2.30pm Monday to 9.30am Friday.

Price Includes: VAT, full boat inventory, car parking, bed linen, towels, t-towels, washing-up liquid, soap, toilet rolls. A grocery requirements list can also be sent prior to your holiday.

Additional Costs:
Diesel: The diesel used will be charged for on return from your holiday. The cost of diesel is set at slightly under supermarket prices prevailing at the time of your holiday. Your boat engine will use between 1.25 and 1.7 litres per cruising hour. In addition, your boat is equipped with diesel fired central heating which will increase diesel consumption when the central heating is in use. We estimate usage of approx. £12 - £15 per day.

Pets: On those boats where pets are allowed, the charge is £30 per pet (payable on arrival at the boat base). They are not allowed on seating or beds and may not be left unattended. Pets are not covered under the company's insurance policy and the Hirer shall be liable for the cost of any damage or extra cleaning required. A maximum of 2 pets per boat. Please ask when booking if you would prefer a pet free boat and we will do our best to allocate one to you, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Damage Waiver: For a compulsory, non-refundable additional payment of £50, you will be covered in the event of any accidental damage/loss or accident to your boat or its inventory during your holiday. Exclusions include reported or witnessed speeding; malicious, negligent or intentional damage to the boat, its equipment, the waterway, other boats or structures; damage to rudder or skeg, due to sill damage in locks; return of the boat in unclean condition.

Booking: When booking more than 8 weeks in advance, a 25% deposit is payable, then the balance of hire becomes due 8 weeks before your arrival date. Please note that a 2% surcharge is made for all credit card transactions. No surcharge is payable when paying by debit card.

Cancellation Protection Scheme: This is an optional scheme which gives you the right under certain circumstances to cancel your holiday at any time before you start. In this event you are absolved of all liability under the conditions of hire for any balance of charges due, and if part or all of such charges have already been paid, they will be refunded.

The qualifying circumstances:
Death, injury or illness (certified in all cases by a qualified medical practitioner), jury service or witness call of any member of the party listed on the booking form at the time of booking; Death, injury or illness (certified in all cases by a qualified medical practitioner) of the spouse, parent, step-parent, brother,sister, child, step-child, parent-in-law or fiance of the hirer or any member of the party; Redundancy of the hirer, providing that the hirer qualifies for payment under the Redundancy Payment Act 1965.
