| General Description: A superb 32ft historic tug boat with a separate engine room. Newly re-fitted in 2012. Sleeps 2 adults in cabin - permanent, full length, cross-wise bed (the head room from the top of the double bed mattress to the ceiling is approx 1 metre). Brand new and well equipped galley with fridge/freezer, hob, oven & grill. Newly fitted bathroom with shower, flush toilet and wash basin. Solid
fuel stove to provide heating - the stove is a ‘classic range’ – a traditional cabin stove with a little oven on the side, ideal for jacket potatoes. You can put a kettle or cooking pot on top for soups/stews. 240v electrical supply. Radio/CD and TV/DVD
player (Bluetooth connectivity). IPod dock. Fitted with newly upgraded engine. Start/Finish times: Your boat will be available for collection between 2.00pm and 4.30pm on the first day of hire. The boat must be returned by 9.00am and vacated by 9.30am on the last day of hire. Prices include: The price includes diesel, coal, 2 bottles of gas, VAT, bed linen (duvets and sheets) and car parking. A welcome basket will be on board for your arrival, which includes a small bottle of white wine and rose/red, chocolates, tea/coffee & sugar sachets, dishcloth, Sponge, small bottle of shampoo & shower gel. Towels are not included but can be supplied at a charge of £5.00 per person if requested. Please do not take bicycles on this boat. Pets: Pets are welcome at a charge of £20.00 per pet. Hirers must provide their own pet baskets or blankets. All pets must be properly house trained or caged as appropriate, must never be left unattended, and may not be allowed on seating. Pets are not covered under the Company's insurance policy and the Hirer shall be liable for any damage or loss caused by them. Please bring your pets' own bedding. All bookings are subject to a compulsory refundable Security Deposit of £200, payable on arrival by credit card or debit card and returnable one week after hire. The hirer is still responsible for stern-gear damage due to hitting lock cills, malicious damage, returning the boat late or dirty. N.B. For some non-family or single sex crews, an extra £200 refundable Security Deposit will be requested, in addition to the above security deposit. Payments can be made by debit card or credit card (there is a surcharge of 2% when paying with a credit card, but none with a debit card). If booking within 8 weeks of the holiday full payment will be due. Before this, a 25% deposit is required. |
