Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrive at 3.00pm, returning your boat by 10.00am on the last day of hire.
We happily accommodate up to 2 pets free of charge. Please bring bedding and food bowls for your pet. We politely request that pets are kept off the bedding and soft furnishings.
A booking deposit of £200 is payable initially, with the balance of hire due 8 weeks before your arrival date.

Boat Description:

Highlights: A comfortable 55ft narrowboat based at Barton Grange Marina, near Garstang on the Lancaster Canal. A great option for families, with one permanent double bed, a twin cabin and an optional make up area in the saloon. The boat has a 12v CD/radio, TV, DVD player and hairdryer. Three pin socket suitable for charging mobile phones, laptops etc. Up to 2 pets happily accommodated free of charge. Please bring bedding and food bowls for your pet. We politely request that pets are kept off the bedding and soft furnishings. Heating is supplied by diesel central heating throughout the length of the boat with a diesel stove in the lounge area. Water is heated by the boat's diesel engine in addition to the central heating. Some cruising will need to be done each day to charge up your batteries to ensure your supply of electricity.

Saloon: Sofa can either be used as one single or made up into a cross over double bed, if required.

Galley: Galley kitchen with four ring gas hob,oven and grill; Fridge with freezer compartment and microwave oven; All crockery and cutlery provided.

Cabins: Master cabin with one fixed 6ft king sized bed and TV/DVD.

Bathroom: Two bathrooms, one with a shower, sink and flush toilet and additional toilet.

Additional Costs:

Security deposit: £200. Payable on arrival. Refunded to you after your trip, when the boat and its contents are returned undamaged. However, we reserve the right to withhold all or part of your deposit if your boat is returned late, damaged and/or in a dirty condition.
