Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrive between 2.30pm - 4.00pm (latest), returning your boat by 9.00am to vacate by 9.30am on the last day of hire. Please note: The pick-up time for boats from our Falkirk base only is 1.30pm, to allow for tuition and navigation on your first day.
A deposit of 25% is payable, with the balance of hire due 8 weeks before your arrival date. Payments can be by Visa or MasterCard credit or debit cards. No surcharges apply for any card payments.

Cancellation protection is not included within your holiday hire. You are strongly advised to take out your own holiday insurance as you will remain liable for the cost of the holiday should you need to cancel for any unforseen reason.

Boat Description:

Highlights: A very spacious and modern 60ft cruiser stern 'widebeam' boat suited to a family or larger group.
Quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple controls. Full radiator central heating. Hot and cold running water supplied from a 150 gallon water tank. Double filtered drinking water system. 240 volt electricity (please note that if you decide to use any of your own appliances you do so at your own risk). On-board there is a hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, 12v mobile phone charging point (bring your own car charging lead) and a welcome pack including 1 bottle of washing up liquid, 1 dish cloth, 1 tea towel, 1 floor cloth, toilet roll & bin liner. Helmsman's waterproofs & Umbrella. This boat is fitted with free WiFi - an explanation of how to use the WiFi will be supplied on-board your boat on arrival. Lockable security box.

Saloon: Spacious saloon with a sofa and removable table. The seating can be converted into a double or two single beds in the evening, if required. There is also a radio/CD player, television and a DVD player in the saloon area.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, refrigerator, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. There is a cafetiere, toaster and microwave. Sufficient saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. for the number of berths.

Cabins: Two cabins. The rear cabin has one king sized bed (5ft wide and 6ft 6" long) and wardrobes. The mid cabin has two sets of single bunks beds (including 2 high-level bunks 2ft 6in wide; lower bunks are 3ft wide) and storage.

Bathroom: Two bathrooms, both with a wash basin, electric flush toilet, and shower. There is also a 240v shaver socket.

Additional Costs:

Fuel Deposit: £50 per short break, £90 per week up to 2 weeks, payable with the balance of hire. Please note: the fuel consumption on this boat will be more than the suggested fuel deposits, due to its size. The boat is handed over ready fuelled, on return to the marina at the end of your holiday period the boat will be refuelled and any difference to the deposit paid will either be refunded or charged.
Boats starting at Falkirk Only: Additional licence of £15 for 3 nights or £25 for longer is payable by cash or card on arrival.
