Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Your hire period will begin at 1.30pm on your first day and finish by 9.00am on your last day.
Full payment is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, a deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to confirm the booking.
There is no surcharge for a credit or debit card payment, please note we cannot accept American Express cards.

Pet charges, per pet: £30 (max 2). They are not allowed on seating or beds and may not be left unattended.

Boat Description:

Highlights: Precious Gem is a semi-traditional narrowboat built in late 2019. This 45ft narrowboat is perfect for couples, a small family or group of friends. It has a quiet, water cooled diesel engine and easy to use controls. There is radiator central heating and a 1000 litre water tank supplies the hot and cold running water. There is free Wi-Fi on board and a bluetooth speaker. Plenty of power sockets and USB points are available. Travel hairdryer provided.

Saloon: The engineered oak flooring is laid throughout the boat giving the boat a real warm and homely feel leading you into the open plan living/dining area where there is a tasteful grey L shaped dinette and table that can be converted into a double bed if required. There is a wood burning stove in the saloon for cosy nights in. Comfortable dining or TV viewing for 4. There is a 32” TV. You can also attach your smart phone to the Bluetooth speaker and listen to your music throughout the boat. Popcorn maker to enjoy on movie night. Selection of family DVDs and traditional board games.

Galley: The luxurious kitchen is fully equipped and has a 3 burner gas hob, grill and full sized oven. There is a fridge, toaster, sink and drainer as well as saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery, cutlery and a Nespresso machine. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces.

Cabins: At the bow end of the boat there is a cabin with a double bed which can be converted to a twin bed if required. There is also an 18” TV with built in DVD player and a wardrobe for clothes. The bed will be made up with freshly laundered Egyptian cotton bedding. Double doors lead on to the front deck where you can enjoy meals or drinks at the two seater bistro table.

Bathroom: One bathroom with a full size shower, flush toilet and wash basin. Towels are provided for all the guests.
