Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrival time is 3.00pm on the first day of hire. Boats need to be returned by 9.30am on the last day and vacated by 10.00am.
A booking deposit of 20% of the total cost is payable initially, with the balance of hire due 6 weeks before your arrival date.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: First pet free of charge. Subsequent pets welcome for an additional charge of £25 per pet.
Cancellation protection: Cancellation protection cover is not included, but can be offered to UK customers, if required.

Boat Description:

Highlights: A 50 foot traditional stern narrowboat, with modern smooth-running diesel engine in it's own engine room.
The boat has a gas-fired, full central heating system plus a solid-fuel stove for cosy nights on-board. 12v USB socket for charging mobile phones, plus an inverter which supplies 240v electricity to low wattage appliances. Phantom is a traditional narrowboat with its own engine room and a large foredeck with seating. There is a hairdryer supplied. WiFi facility included - top-up required onboard (signal cannot be guaranteed as it is dependant on mobile signal).

Saloon: Spacious saloon with two reclining rocking chairs, occasional tables and a fold down dining table. There is also a solid-fuel stove - perfect for cosy warm evenings on-board. There is a Freeview TV/DVD and CD/Radio player in the saloon.

Galley: Fully-equipped galley with gas cooker (oven, grill & hob), microwave and refrigerator. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans etc.

Cabins: One rear cabin with one fixed double 4-poster bed with interior sprung mattress.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with a corner bath and shower over, flush toilet and a wash basin.

Additional Costs:

Damage waiver: A non-refundable damage waiver of £60 is payable on every hire. The damage waiver covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or its equipment (except for negligent or malicious damage).
Fuel: The boat is handed over with a full tank of fuel, and must be returned with a full tank. Fuel can be purchased at the boatyard.
