Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: 7 night weekly breaks commence 3.00pm on the start day and finish 9am on the final day. 3 night weekend & 4 night midweek short breaks commence 2pm on the start day and finish 9am on the final day. Booking requires a deposit of 25% of the basic hire price, with balance payable 28 days before holiday (or payment in full if holiday starts within 28 days of booking.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: £35 per week or short break.
Rowing dinghy: £55 per week or £38 per short break.
Sailing dinghy: £63 per week or £46 per short break.
Car parking: Undercover: £21 per week, £16 per short break. Outside: £16 per week, £11 per short break.

Boat Description:

Highlights: Easy to sail bermudan rigged sloop with loose footed jib. Ideal for sailors looking to move up from dinghy sailing to a keel yacht in the safety of the Broads inland waterways. Easy lifting counterbalanced cabin top. Communication hatch between fore cabin and main cabin. Sink and tap in well. Full length awning. Bermudan rig sloop with loose footed jib. balanced mast to negotiate broads bridges. Berths for 4 persons in saloon and forepeak. Flush sea toilet , washbasin, two burner cooker grill and oven. Crockery is provided. There is no heating on this boat. Please bring cool box (as no fridge on board) and matches.

Please note that this yacht is provided with an awning which should be fitted at night to utilise the space on the yacht and for your comfort.

Javelin has a bermudan rig with new sails fitted in 2015. Javelin 2 has a Yanmar inboard diesel engine and Javelin 3 has a Nanni inboard diesel.

Saloon: Wood interior with either 2 settee single berths or one single plus one pull out double.

Galley: Two burner hob, grill and oven. Cutlery, crockery, saucepans and cooking utensils are provided.

Cabins: Forepeak cabin with full length single bed

Bathroom: Flush sea toilet.

Additional Costs:

Non refundable damage waiver: £45. This negates the hirer from any liability to pay for loss of/or accidental damage to the boat or its equipment, but not malicious damage, loss of equipment by negligence or return of the boat in an unclean condition, which will incur an extra payment.
