Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrival is at 2pm on the first day of hire. If arriving after 4pm please inform the boat operator. The boat must be returned by 9am on the last day.
A deposit of 25% is payable, with the balance of hire due 8 weeks before your arrival date. Payments can be made by bank transfer or by Visa or MasterCard credit or debit cards. No surcharges apply for any card payments.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: First pet is free of charge, the second at a cost of £20. Please bring your pet's own bedding.

Boat Description:

Highlights: 55ft cruiser stern narrowboat, ideal for family groups or couples.
Little Egret has recently had a complete refurbishment, inside and out! There is full radiator central heating throughout and 240v electricity, please note that if you decide to use any of your own appliances you do so at your own risk. On-board there is a a 12v USB mobile phone charging point (bring your own car charging lead). PLEASE NOTE: The available cruising routes include the London canals and rivers. It is NOT permitted to enter the Tidal River Thames and therefore you cannot cruise the River Thames at all. With prior permission at point of enquiry, in exceptional circumstances for very experienced hirers, we can facilitate departure from Brentford to Teddington (through Port of London Waters) to complete The London Ring, a circa 3 week cruise.)

Saloon: Spacious saloon with two bench seats and removable table, this can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There are decorative quirky touches dotted about the saloon and up to date glossy magazines for you to enjoy. A large selection of board games, books and DVDs are available to reserve and have placed on the boat, both for adults and children, if desired. A TV/DVD, radio & CD are also provided for your entertainment.

Galley: Well equipped galley with fridge, full-size oven and hob. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses and pots & pans are supplied.

Cabins: Two cabins. The rear cabin has two single beds which can be configured as a permanent double bed, if required. The mid cabin offers a permanent double bed. Hotel bed linen is supplied, along with feather pillows, throws and cushions for a touch of added comfort.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with a wash basin, flush toilet and shower. Towels are supplied.

Additional Costs:

Stag, Hen or Non-Family Groups: Stag and Hen parties are not accepted at all. Single sex parties (excluding couples or family groups) will not be accepted without prior permission. At the discretion of the boatyard there will be a refundable security deposit, payable in advance, of £1000 per boat.
