Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrive between 1.00pm and 4.00pm and returning between 9.00am and 10.30am on the last day of hire.

A deposit of 20% of the total cost is required. The balance of hire is due 4 weeks before your arrival date. Payments can be made by credit or debit card, there is no charge for credit/debit card transactions.

Please note: Henriette is only suitable for hirers who have cruised on the UK Canals or River Thames before.

Pet Charge: One small/medium well behaved pet is permitted at an additional cost of £35, paid with the balance of hire.

Boat Description:

Highlights: SUITABLE FOR EXPERIENCED BOATERS ONLY. Henriette is a full mahogany wood cruiser that was built in 1948.

Henriette is ideal for a couple, who have been on the canals or the River Thames previously. Henriette is one of only 6 built in Norfolk by Moore & Sons, it was the first one built and the one the others are based on.
Henriette has a canopy covering the cockpit, which can be lowered so you can fit under Osney Bridge, and cruise the upper reaches of the River Thames.
240 volts (max 1000W) supplied via an inverter with two three pin sockets with usb ports for charging devices.
A toaster, kettle, cafetiere, tea, coffee & sugar, essential spices, cleaning materials, a hair dryer and iron are all onboard for you.

Saloon: Saloon with two single sofas which converts to two single berths in the evening. There are also 2 picnic chairs and a table that can be folded away when not in use. The picnic chairs and table can be used on the bank as well.

Galley: Fully equipped galley with a small cooker with 2 ring gas hob, oven, grill and storage with all the necessary crockery and utensils for self-catering. Also there is a good sized electric fridge under the helm seat.

Cabins: Henriette does not have a separate sleeping cabin, there are two sofas in the saloon which convert into 2 singles.

Bathroom: One bathroom with toilet, shower and wash basin.

Additional Costs:

Damage waiver: A non-refundable damage waiver of £100 is payable on every hire. The damage waiver covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or its equipment (except for negligent or malicious damage).
Fuel: The boats are handed over fuelled, we just ask they are brought back with the same amount.
