Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrival is between 1.30-4.00pm on the first day of hire (the boatyard requests that novices arrive before 3pm). A minimum of 2 adults are required to receive tuition. Earlier pick-up can sometimes be arranged with the boatyard. If departing the marina any later than 5pm - you may be charged a late arrival fee of £50.00 cash per hour per boat after 5pm. The boat must be returned by 9.00am and vacated by 9.30am on the last day.
When booking an initial £180.00 deposit payment is required. Full payment is required or the balance 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. For larger parties, a £150 refundable security deposit may be requested on arrival. This is refunded in full on return of your boat on time in a clean and undamaged condition with no third party claims against you. Cancellation cover is not included within the hire cost.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: First pet is free of charge, the second at a cost of £25. Please bring your pet's own bedding.
Additional Fuel Charge: Your holiday price includes an allowance of 50 litres of fuel per week or 20 litres per short break. Additional fuel used will be charged at pump price on return at the end of your holiday.

Boat Description:

Highlights: 67ft cruiser stern narrowboat, ideal for family groups or couples.
Full radiator central heating throughout. 240v electricity, please note that if you decide to use any of your own appliances you do so at your own risk. On-board there is a suitable hairdryer and a 12v mobile phone charging point (bring your own car charging lead).

Saloon: 'L' shaped seating area with a removable table which can be converted into a make-up double in the evening, if required. A TV/DVD is provided for your entertainment.

Galley: Well equipped central galley with fridge, full-size oven and hob, and a microwave. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses and pots & pans are supplied.

Cabins: Three cabins. The rear cabin has two sets of bunk beds (4 singles total). The mid cabin and forward cabins both have a permanent double bed. Bed linen is supplied.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with a wash basin, pedal flush flush toilet and shower. There is another separate wash basin and toilet and shower cubicle.

Additional Costs:

There are no additional costs.
