Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrive between 2.00pm - 4.00pm (latest), returning your boat by 9.00am on the last day of hire.
When booking more than 8 weeks in advance, a booking deposit of 25% of the brochure hire charge is payable at the time of booking. The balance of hire is due 8 weeks before your arrival date.
A refundable security deposit of £1,000 per boat may be requested on arrival for larger celebratory parties. If applicable, this will be pre-authorised by card when collecting your boat - please see terms and conditions for full details.

Pet Charges, per pet: First pet is free of charge, second pet is £25 per short break or £35 per week.

Boat Description:

Highlights: 60ft cruiser stern narrowboat suitable for family groups. Full radiator central heating throughout. 240v electricity, (max 1000 watts) please note that if you decide to use any of your own appliances you do so at your own risk. On-board there is a small travel hairdryer and a 12v mobile phone charging point (bring your own car charging lead). This boat is fitted with 1GB free WiFi (per holiday) - an explanation of how to use the WiFi will be supplied on-board your boat on arrival. As the system uses the mobile network, the signal cannot be guaranteed.

Saloon: Spacious saloon with an 'L' shaped sofa and table, which can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There is a TV/DVD player and a CD/Radio player in the saloon.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, fridge with a small freezer compartment, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. There is a microwave and cafetiere in the galley. Sufficient saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. are provided for the number of berths.

Cabins: Two cabins, both can either be configured as a double bed or two single beds, and there is a small wardrobe for storing clothes in each.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with a wash basin, electric flush toilet and shower. Plus a separate wash basin and toilet next to the rear cabin. There is a hand towel supplied in each bathroom.

Additional Costs:

Non refundable damage waiver: £50. This negates the hirer from any liability to pay for loss of/or accidental damage to the boat or its equipment, but not malicious damage, loss of equipment by negligence or return of the boat in an unclean condition, which will incur an extra payment.
Fuel deposit: £70 per short break, £110 per week, payable with the balance of hire. The boat is handed over ready fuelled, on return to the marina at the end of your holiday period the boat will be refuelled and any difference to the deposit paid will either be refunded or charged.
