Let\u2019s talk about the internal layout of a narrowboat, specifically what to expect on board and where the \u2018rooms\u2019 are located. Narrowboats have a corridor that usually runs the length of the boat and also a galley kitchen, bed(s) in cabins, and toilet\/washroom facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most narrowboats available for holiday hire have an internal layout with a cabin at the back of the boat and a social area at the front. In addition to these more traditional internal layouts, we also offer boats with a \u2018reverse\u2019 layout. Reverse layout boats have a social area at the back and usually a cabin at the front. This is great for socialising during the day as you can chat together at the back of the boat whilst you\u2019re cruising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
