The scenery on the canals in the winter months is picture-perfect with frosty mornings, calm waterways and crispy towpaths. It\u2019s not just the scenery that makes a winter canal boat holiday appealing, it\u2019s a chance to slow down, with shorter cruising times of around 4 hours a day, there\u2019s plenty of time to stop off and enjoy a nice pub meal by an open fire before making your way back to your cosy, floating home for the evening.<\/p>\n
