Bernadette II is ideal for a couple or a family with two younger children, who have been on the canals or the River Thames previously.
Modern features have been introduced to make Bernadette II more comfortable, including a ‘jet thruster’ to assist with maneuverability, new mattresses in the forward cabin and memory foam toppers available for the saloon berths, central heating with radiators, a TV with internal DVD and a Stereo DAB radio – that can play music from your phone too. There is also shore power, 240v (via a 1000w inverter), USB socket, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, tea, coffee & sugar, essential spices, cleaning materials, a hair dryer and iron. Picnic chairs are provided.
From Benson, you can cruise downstream past Magna Carta Island and experience the great expanse of Runnymede. Visit some of the most historic and beautiful towns and villages in England such as, Henley, Pangbourne, Sonning and Oxford.
