In a year like no other, we’ve had to adapt, respond and collaborate with each other more than ever.
We’ve built on our existing partnerships to help support one another throughout the year. As an industry, we’re utilising unfamiliar technologies and consequently talking more than ever before, be it by phone, email or increasingly via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Through our membership with British Marine, we’ve come together to share knowledge and resolve problems, discussing everything from fogging, cleaning bed linen, best practice for hire boat handover and social distancing compliance.
We have added to our portfolio of boats and locations that we are now able to offer our customers for their future boating holidays. This year we have had a lot of newcomers to the waterways due to people deciding to holiday at home rather than abroad and the feedback has been very positive indeed.
We also had a new addition to the team, our Feel-Good Manager Rudi, he’s certainly had a very positive impact in the office this year.
As a team, whether socially distanced in the office or working from home, we’ve consistently been available over the phone, by email or by video chat. Over the Christmas period, we are open every day, 6 days a week, with the exception of the 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th December and 1st January.
