New Boat Alert – ‘Jubilee’

Built for 2022, 6 berth Jubilee is a 60ft narrowboat designed and equipped exclusively for families and groups that need wheelchair accessibility.

Jubilee has clear access across the starboard side of the boat with a full-length handrail and an easy to use lift at the stern. Large low level cabin windows for easy viewing plus a large open plan shower room.

Loughborough is a nice central starting location for a variety of routes suitable for both novices and experienced boaters. The Leicester section of the Grand Union Canal (River Soar) circles round Loughborough to a T-junction. The Loughborough section then continues northwards to the River Trent. The navigation passes to the east of Loughborough town and varied routes include heading south towards the city of Leicester and Foxton Locks or north onto the Trent and Mersey Canal.
