General Facilities: Whisper is a traditional, steel, narrowboat - a great rarity for hire on the Norfolk Broads. Refurbished in Autumn 2013, this boat offers comfortable cruising for a small family or a group of friends. The rear cabin has two permanant single beds and in the saloon there is a seating area that will pull out to make a double bed. There is a bathroom with 3/4 length bath and shower over, WC and wash basin. Hot & cold running water. Fully equipped galley with cooker (oven hob & grill), fridge, cutlery, crockery, pots & pans. TV/DVD in saloon area. Warm air heating. Front cockpit with lockers (seating). Cupboards with hanging space. Traditional stern with tiller steering. Please note that the present photo is of a similar boat - Whisper does not have a helmsman's cover at the stern.

Price: The price includes boat hire inclusive of VAT, damage waiver, off road car parking, bed linen, buoyancy aids (for pets as well) and gas for hot water, cooking and heating.

Diesel: A fuel deposit of £100 (for diesel) is required with your balance of hire, any difference in fuel usage will be calculated on your return.

Pets: If you don't want to leave the family dog behind we also welcome up to 2 well behaved pets at £25 per pet per holiday, but we do reserve the right to charge if extra cleaning is required because of pet hair, mud etc. Please do not allow your pet onto the beds or seats.

Boat takeover times: Collection of your boat will be 4.00pm on the first day and then needs to be returned and vacated by 9.30am on the final day of your holiday. You are welcome to arrive from 2.00pm onwards, on the off-chance that the boat is available earlier. A map of the Broads is supplied during your show through.

To book: To book this boat an initial booking deposit of £150 is required with the balance of hire due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. If booking less than 8 weeks before then full payment would be due.
