Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrival time is 3.00pm on the first day of hire. Boats need to be returned by 9.30am on the last day and vacated by 10.00am.
A booking deposit of 20% of the total cost is payable initially, with the balance of hire due 6 weeks before your arrival date.
Please note for larger single-sex bookings you may be asked to pay a refundable security deposit of £1,000 by cash or credit card on arrival (instead of the damage waiver).. This is fully refundable when you return the boat on time, relatively clean and with no serious damage (to this boat or a third party) or loss of equipment.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: First pet free of charge. Subsequent pets welcome for an additional charge of £25 per pet.
Cancellation protection: Cancellation protection cover is not included, but can be offered to UK customers, if required.

Boat Description:

Highlights: 69ft cruiser stern narrowboat suitable for family groups and larger parties.
Full radiator central heating throughout. 240v electricity, (max 1000 watts) please note that if you decide to use any of your own appliances you do so at your own risk. On-board there is a small travel hairdryer and a 12v USB socket for mobile phone charging point.

Saloon: There are two separate saloon areas at the rear of the boat, providing plenty of seating areas. There is an 'L' shaped sofa which can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There are also two additional dinette areas with tables, which can be converted into two singles, if required. There is also a TV/DVD player and a CD/Radio player in the saloon.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with a 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, fridge with a small freezer compartment, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. Sufficient saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. are provided for the number of berths.

Cabins: Two cabins, the forward cabin has two single beds and storage space and the mid cabin has two sets of single bunk beds (four singles in total). There are also drawers in-between the cabin and dinette areas.

Bathroom: Separate shower room and two toilets, with a wash basin in each.

Additional Costs:

Damage waiver: A non-refundable damage waiver of £60 is payable on every hire. The damage waiver covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or its equipment (except for negligent or malicious damage). For larger same sexed groups a refundable damage deposit of £1000 will be required in cash on arrival instead of the non-refundable damage waiver.
Fuel: The boat is handed over with a full tank of fuel, and must be returned with a full tank. Fuel can be purchased at the boatyard.
