Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrival time is 3.00pm on the first day of hire. Boats need to be returned by 9.30am on the last day and vacated by 10.00am.
A booking deposit of 20% of the total cost is payable initially, with the balance of hire due 6 weeks before your arrival date.

Optional Extras:

Pet Charges, per pet: First pet free of charge. Subsequent pets welcome for an additional charge of £25 per pet.
Cancellation protection: Cancellation protection cover is not included, but can be offered to UK customers, if required.

Boat Description:

Highlights: A 62ft cruiser stern 6 berth narrowboat, with modern smooth-running diesel engine underneath large rear deck.
The boat has a gas-fired, full central heating system plus a solid-fuel stove for cosy nights on-board. 12v USB socket for charging mobile phones, plus inverter which supplies 240v electricity with 3-pin sockets (max 1800 watts). There is a hairdryer supplied. WiFi facility included - top-up required onboard (signal cannot be guaranteed as it is dependant on mobile signal).

Saloon: Spacious saloon with 'L' shaped seating which can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There is a solid-fuel stove - perfect for cosy warm evenings on-board as well as a TV/DVD and CD/Radio player.

Galley: Fully-equipped galley with gas cooker (oven, grill & hob) and refrigerator. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans etc.

Cabins: Two cabins. The rear cabin has two single beds and the mid cabin has one fixed double bed.

Bathroom: One full bathroom with a bath and shower over, flush toilet and a wash basin. There is a separate flush toilet and wash basin inbetween the rear and mid cabin.

Additional Costs:

Damage waiver: A non-refundable damage waiver of £60 is payable on every hire. The damage waiver covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or its equipment (except for negligent or malicious damage).

What's Included?

Full tank of diesel and gas bottles - this will normally suffice for one week's cruising.
Bed linen and towels (1 hand towel & 1 bath towel per person).
Car parking (at owners risk).
Cleaning materials.
Tuition and buoyancy aids.
