Terms & Conditions of Hire:

Hire Times: Arrive on Saturday at 3.00pm and return the following Saturday by 10.00am. Failure to return the narrow boat by 10.00am will result in a charge of £15.00 per half hour or part thereof overdue.
A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to confirm your holiday booking. The balance of hire becomes due 4 weeks before your arrival date. Payments are made via bank transfer or debit/credit cards. There is no charge for credit card payments.
You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of booking and you must present proof of your age and identity in the form of a Driving License (both parts), Passport or Birth Certificate.

Boat Description:

Highlights: 55ft cruiser stern narrowboat, sleeping six in comfort, with a flexible bed layout. There is 240 volt power and full central heating. The water is heated by the engine or the central heating unit, so you will always have enough hot water for a shower. There is a hairdryer and cafetière on-board. Buoyancy aids are supplied on arrival and pets are welcome free of charge.

Saloon: Spacious saloon with 'l'-shaped seating area, which can be converted into a double bed if required. There is a choice of small or dining tables. A TV/DVD player is fitted in the saloon for your entertainment, the system also has the facility to play music from an MP3 player or USB stick.

Galley: Fully-equipped galley with plenty of storage space, fridge and four ring cooker. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans etc.

Cabins: Two twin cabins, the rear beds are able to be configured as a double bed if you choose. The cabins have ample wardrobe and under bed storage. Each single bed is fitted with a reading lamp.

Bathroom: One bathroom with a shower, flush toilet and a wash basin.

Additional Costs:

Security Deposit: A £250 security deposit is payable before your holiday starts. This will be repaid to you in full if the boat and its equipment is returned in good condition. This can be paid by bank transfer at any time before your holiday or in cash on the day of departure.
